Penny Nixon (nee McCleery) wrote and was singer for Belfast based band "Blinder". She stayed with them for 3 years until being asked to join RGB Records.
Signed in 1999, she wrote and performed on a number of dance tracks including "Home" with Coast to Coast as Discovery and "Such is Life" with Rank 1 as Shanokee.
"Home" was MTV Dance No.1 and has featured on over 40 compilations worldwide. Penny sang the debut of "Such Is Life" at "Sensation", an ID+T concert in the Ajax Football Stadium in Amsterdam, in front of 44,000 people.
Since then, Penny has worked on a number of different projects including soundtrack work for short films and underground tracks. She also spent a year writing and recording with Mark Murphy of The Devlins in Dublin.
