Gedge was born in Dublin in the seventies and his favourite musicians include David Bowie, Bob Marley, Sade, to name a few, He started mixing in 1990, watching his cousin Johnny Moy build a reputation for himself as the main DJ of Ireland, alongside David Holmes.

Having held many residencies, in some of the largest nights over the years, and played pretty much every style of music that was going, Gedge found his love in techno in the mid nineties, becoming the main resident for the ‘Liberation’ parties that rocked Dublin for many years.

He also had the prime time dance music slot for Dublin’s Power FM on a Friday night, bringing techno to the masses.  As schedules & music styles changed he found his way into more obscure styles of techno & electro, educating people at all times of the evening, whatever day his show fell on.

There are few techno DJs in the world who Gedge has not played alongside, giving them a run for their money with his style of Djing.  In 2001 he hooked up with a good friend Gint, and began working on live techno sets, where they became legendary across Ireland for a slamming set.  They were so good that they were picked up by CJ Bolland for his label.

In the last couple of years he has been working with another studio partner producing music as Digital Warfare.    You can still catch Gedge playing on Power 97.2fm, or through their web-site, www.powerfm.org
